A member of the executive committees of the Liberation and Central Committee of the Fatah movement Azzam al-Ahmad said on Monday that the government decided to restore the salaries of employees in Gaza gradually from January 1.
Al-Ahmad said in a press statement that the decision was taken by agreement between the government and President Mahmoud Abbas.
"The Hamas movement took advantage of the issue of reducing the salaries of Gaza employees, and said it was sanctions on Gaza, but the government from the outset reduced salaries to 70% and then 50%," according to the channel reported success.
Al-Ahmad pointed out that Prime Minister Rami al-Hamdallah announced at the time that the opponent is safe for employees, and when the government appreciates payment, it will be paid with the approval of the president.
"The Fatah movement had a point of view and the government negotiated several times over salaries," he said.
