The payment of national insurance fees regularly entitles the right to most of the national insurance benefits. Every resident of Israel who is 18 years of age or older must be insured by national insurance and pay insurance fees (except for a woman who is married to a housewife, who has come to Israel and has been a resident of Israel for the first time over the age of 62).
